What are the limits for Telegram accounts?

The Telegram limits are listed below (they will be updated as needed).

Subscription limits:

  • Chats/groups/supergroups: You can subscribe to 5 chats/groups/supergroups in a row, after which the delay will begin to increase exponentially, starting at 360 seconds. If you subscribe with an 8-minute (480-second) delay between targets, you can reach a limit of 50 targets, after which a 5-hour flood occurs.
  • Channels: You can subscribe to 5 channels in a row; after that, the delay begins to increase exponentially starting at 360 seconds. If you subscribe with an 8-minute (480-second) delay between targets, it reaches a limit of 50 targets, after which a flood occurs for 5 hours.

Messaging limits:

  • Sending private messages by username: You can send up to 50 messages per day from one account (usually 40–44). A cooling-off period ranging from 2 weeks to 3 months has been observed. After that, a ban typically occurs, depending on the number of complaints.
  • Sending private messages by username: You can send up to 30 messages per account per day. One advantage is that you don’t have to worry about randomization.
  • Sending private messages by ID: You can send up to 50 messages per account per day (usually 40–44). A cooling-off period of 2 weeks to 3 months has been observed. After that, a ban usually occurs, depending on the number of complaints.
  • Sending private messages by phone number: You can send up to 30 messages per account per day. After that, a limit on adding numbers to the address book takes effect, and the software displays a message stating that the number was not found.
  • Sending via private chats: You can send 20–25 messages in a single batch without delays. If you set a 1–2-minute delay between messages and there are no complaints, you can generally send messages without significant restrictions. You can use accounts with spam blocking enabled.
  • Sending to public chats: You can send 10–15 messages in a single batch without delays. If you set a 1–2-minute interval between messages and there are no complaints, you can send messages without any significant restrictions. However, it is not recommended to use accounts with spam blocking enabled.

    • Invite Limits:

    • There are limits on inviting users to chats, groups, and supergroups. You can invite users by username or ID up to 50 times, but it is not recommended to invite users to new chats that were created less than a month ago.

    • You can send up to 30 invitations per day using phone numbers; it is also not recommended to invite users to new chats that were created less than a month ago.
    • You can invite users to channels up to 50 times a day, but you can only invite the first 200 people to a channel; after that, you cannot invite new users.

      There are also limits on verifying phone numbers—currently up to 30 numbers per account per day. Each account is limited to subscribing to up to 500 chats or channels (Telegram does not distinguish between chats and channels). If you don’t have access to your old session, you can only deactivate it 24 hours after logging in to a new one.     Important notes:

    • Channel invitations—the limit is calculated per channel, not per account. If a channel already has 180 subscribers, you can invite only 20 people.
    • After an account is blocked, a new account using the same phone number can only be created after 6 months.
