Pairs: App Hash, App ID, Telegram

Telegram App Hash and App ID Pairs

Telegram app hash/app ID—this is the equivalent of a "login/password" combination used on a platform like VK for authorization, except it authenticates the entire application rather than the user themselves.

What are app_id and api_hash used for:

To access the Client API, you need to create an app at my.telegram.org -> Development Tools. The app_id and api_hash are, in fact, the credentials of the app through which the user logs into Telegram. A user cannot log into Telegram out of thin air.

Why are apps created? To manage user capabilities—that is, to restrict, ban, or grant access on a large scale (for features that are in beta or otherwise restricted).

Telegram also uses this method to collect statistics on which apps users are using and what features those apps have, in order to improve the official client.

A few quick tips:
Do not transfer the account on which the pair was created to that pair; in 100% of cases, this has led to a ban based on our experience.
Trust in a pair is initially established based on how long the account on which it was created has been active; in our experience, a free transfer can be performed if the creator’s account is more than 3 months old.
